We partnered with EngageWorks to design an experiential event stand for Dugout on two separate major football events: ‘SoccerEx’, 6-8th September 2016 in Manchester and ‘Leaders in Sport’, 5-6th October 2016 in London. Dugout is a new online platform dedicated to football that allows Clubs and Players to monetize their content for the first time.
‘Dugout’ is the digital destination that offers exclusive unrivalled access to the lives of players behind football. This Hub is an exclusive place (outside of all the Facebook and Twitter noise) where you get quality football content, condensed and tailored to your interests.
We embraced the high- energy, frenetic collision of Club content, fans and players all in one hub by creating dynamic, bold and energetic experiences for the brand.
The living, breathing visual identity informs the vibrant stand design. 55x5m LED strips were programmed to reflect the brand colours. These were programmed to gently change colour formations over time, creating a dynamic element to the stand, and ran across the ceiling and side detail to offer the illusion of being in a tunnel or dugout.
The confident and disruptive design uses a neutral base allowing the colour and layering of the varied content to shine through creating exciting visual styles, in real time, different for every viewer.
