The innovation space called FLUX LOUNGE curated by Engage is showcasing new technologies and ideas for brands and businesses. Recently relaunched, Flux acts as a playground where visitors interact and engage with cool tech that will shape the future.
The room is interconnected with controlled colour lighting via I PAD. Large interactive touchscreens enable visitors to upload, send, move and organise, or simply sketch with their fingertips. These digital whiteboards facilitate brainstorming and collaborative work sessions across multiple office worldwide.
SEPHORA showcased it’s digital shopping system where customers are taping-in sample products with RFID tags and using loyalty cards to check-out and collect. This can easily increase the average basket price and gives us an idea of the future of retail! Other brands such as NIKA and ADIDAS are using these digital tags to give extra information about stock, manufacturing methods or style.
Furthermore virtual reality has an important place in the experience, where one can imagine being able to diagnose and treat patients half way around the world whilst in your clinic wearing your smart glasses.
