Yasa is a tier one provider of next-generation electric motors and controllers for the automotive industry.
Driven by superior engineering capabilities with a state-of-art, large scale production facility in Oxford, they design and manufacture standard and customised products which are the smallest and lightest form factor available for a given power and torque. They address the ever more pressing issue of stringent emission targets by developing and harnessing the efficient electric technologies which are intrinsic to their products.
At the heart of Yasa’s identity is the desire to express their passion for engineering. From a typeface which has been created using strong structural elements to a colour palette which reflects the metal (shades of grey) so heavily used in their products and facilities, the brand identity by BrandCap attempts to be as true to the YASA brand as possible.

We designed Yasa’s brand environments in line with the newly refreshed identity. The new design is elegant, modern and reflects ‘Engineering Revolution’ through a deceptively simple design, and clean, linear appearance created using strong structural elements. The branded environments included exterior signage elements, a new welcome experience and interior treatments to client facing zones.
